UW employees who are not required to wear a respirator can voluntarily wear a filtering facepiece respirator, such as an N95 or KN95, for their personal use in the workplace.

UW employees voluntarily wearing a respirator in the workplace when it is not required must be provided with Advisory Information for Employees who Voluntarily Use Respirators, regardless of whether the respirator is provided by the University or acquired by other means.
