Intended Audience

This course is required for University personnel who work outdoors when the AQI is 69 or higher (PM2.5 concentration of 20.5 μg/m3 or more). Training is required before working outdoors at or above this level, and retraining is required annually.

Description

This course teaches health effects and symptoms of wildfire smoke exposure, response to symptoms, how to obtain the current air quality, importance of respirator usage, UW wildfire smoke response plan, and regulatory requirements.
