This lesson will teach you how to safely rig loads that will be moved by cranes, hoists, or other equipment. This includes inspecting and selecting rigging equipment, planning a lift, determining load’s weight and center of gravity, using sling angle charts, securing the load to the lifting device, safe work practices during the lift, and proper inspection, maintenance, and storage of rigging equipment.
