This training course will teach you the hazards involved with incipient (early) stage firefighting and the general principles of fire extinguisher use. This is the prerequisite for the "Fire Extinguisher Training - Hands-On" class.

Intended Audience 

All UW employees and students who are expected to use a fire extinguisher for fighting incipient (early) stage fires. All other occupants must follow emergency procedures outlined in your building fire safety and evacuation plan.
