Environmental Health & Safety invites researchers and departments to submit their lab safety innovations for recognition at this year’s biennial Laboratory Safety Awards & Innovations Event. Email a description and/or photos to labcheck@uw.edu with “Innovation” as the subject line.
Selected innovations will be shared on posters at the event and on our website.
Has someone improved the safety culture in your lab or department?
Awards will honor departments from UW’s three campuses, labs advancing safety culture, and individuals who’ve gone above and beyond. To nominate someone—whether or not they work in your lab—email labcheck@uw.edu with “Nomination” as the subject and a brief description of their safety contributions.
Award recipients will be announced in November; trophies will be handed out at the event.
