Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) charges departments for training vendor fees and materials costs.

EH&S provides over 80 training courses on health and safety topics, available online and in-person. Many courses are mandated by regulatory agencies to ensure safety and compliance. Most courses are free for UW personnel, though some in-person classes may incur fees due to vendor or material costs.

Open Enrollment Classes

EH&S offers in-person classes with open enrollment. Individuals can register through our Course Catalog, providing a Worktag at registration.

Requested Classes

EH&S offers additional in-person classes for departments or units upon request. Budget information must be provided two weeks before the class date, and any space reservation costs will be added to the class fee. The fee is charged to the department or unit regardless of attendance.
