Shops at the University of Washington are required to have a Shop Safety Inspection once every two years. Below is a list of questions that are asked during the Shop Safety Inspection.

UW Communicable Disease Cleaning Protocol
The UW Communicable Disease Cleaning Protocol was developed by the University’s Environmental Health & Safety Department (EH&S) in coordination with campus custodial and instructional support units and the University’s Advisory Committee on Communicable Diseases (ACCD). This protocol reflects requirements and guidelines set forth by the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries and federal, state and local public health agencies.

Lead Work Plan Template
Use the Lead Work Plan Template (Word) when lead exposure is assumed or known to be at or above 10 micrograms of airborne lead per cubed meter during an eight-hour TWAe.
