Annual University of Washington Ceremony

University of Washington, Seattle Campus, HUB North Ballroom (second floor of Husky Union Building)

This special ceremony will raise awareness about how we can strengthen our commitment to make jobs safer and save lives in Washington state. This ceremony will honor Washington state workers who lost their lives in 2018.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Gary Franklin Medical Director, Washington State Department of Labor and Industries Research Professor, DEOHS and Department of Medicine, and Adjunct Research Professor, Department of Health Services, University of Washington

Dr. Franklin will share his expertise on the challenges and workplace implications surrounding the current opioid crisis.
