This course teaches scientific divers to provide first-aid, CPR, AED, and emergency oxygen. It focuses on skills specific to the learners' work environments. This is a Diver's Alert Network (DAN) course.

Intended Audience 

Required for active status UW Scientific Divers and Scientific Divers-in-Training in the UW Diving Safety Program. Retraining is required every 2 years.
