Rooms

The only lead-lined patient rooms at the University of Washington Medical Center are on the 6th (6 SE and 6 NE) and 7th (7 NE) floors. All patients undergoing radioactive material therapy must be housed in these rooms. These rooms are 18 and 20 on each floor. The only exception are the permanent implant patients, who are not required to be housed in a lead-lined room.

Most permanent implant patients may share a room with other permanent implant patients.
