EH&S offers online and open-enrollment classroom courses, most of which are free to faculty, staff, and students of the University of Washington with a UW NetID. If you do not have a UW NetID, it may be possible to obtain one through your department/unit sponsorship. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 206.543.7201 with questions.
|Safety Training and Schedules

|Research-related Required Training
||The UW Office of Research collected research-related Required Training links (EH&S included) onto one site to help researchers comply with external sponsor and internal requirements and/or reduce risk. Extensive data work has also provided access to Training Transcripts for all research-related required training on this site.
|Laboratory Safety Training Matrix [PDF]
||The "Safety Training for Laboratory Personnel" document outlines EH&S classes for laboratory personnel and can be used to record training completion.
||List of all available online training for UW Facilities personnel.
|Training Request Form [PDF]
||If you have a training need that cannot be accommodated through an open-enrollment class, submit a Training Request Form at least 6 weeks in advance. Additional time may be needed to develop new training. Tailored training is not a baseline service, and a fee may apply, in order to cover the costs to develop and deliver the training.
||Periodically one-on-one or small group training is provided by EH&S as part of a consultation. EH&S does not consider this level of service to be part of its training program and does not usually retain records for these activities. For a consultation, see the EH&S Contacts list to find the group associated with the needed subject area.
