Reporting Fires and Other Building Emergencies

Fire and Explosion

All incidents must be reported immediately regardless of size and nature by phoning 911 and/or activating the fire alarm system. The level of response will vary based upon the information provided.

Any incidents including minor fires that self extinguish and those that do not require emergency assistance or evacuation must be reported. EH&S investigates all fires to determine cause, provide consultation and to document the incident for reporting purposes. Please call 206.543.0465 to report incidents to EH&S.

Hazardous Material Spill or Release

Spills and releases that pose a physical, health, or environmental risk and spills that are beyond an individual's ability to safely clean with readily available in-house resources and materials, must be reported immediately by phoning 911. More information on spills...
